Raleigh bike grand prize in 10 week contest
Posted May 31, 2010 By EMC NewsEMC News – A contest featuring 10 weeks worth of cash prizes, proceeded by a grand prize draw for a Raleigh bike is now on in Smiths Falls.
Sponsored by Canadian Tire in Smiths Falls and Smiths Falls and District Crime Stoppers, in partnership with the Smiths Falls Police Service, the contest kicked off June 1, with the grand prize draw taking place the week of Aug. 30. Weekly draws for $25 cash take place every Friday until then, with the first falling on June 11.
Police officers will be taking names, addresses and phone numbers of children and youth wearing their bicycle helmet – as mandated under the Highway Traffic Act for those under the age of 16 – these are the names which will be entered into the draw.
Lucky weekly winners will be placed back into the draw for the grand prize – a Raleigh Tora bike valued at $450. The youth bike features dual suspension and is 21 speed.
