Acoustic Blue Sunday continues at The Cove

EMC Entertainment - The Acoustic Blue Sunday Summer Series at The Cove Inn, Westport continues.

Enjoy a fabulous evening of "sit-and-listen" acoustic Blues in the intimate, air-conditioned comfort of The Cove's dining room.

Danny Brooks has come all the way up from Austin, Texas to perform on Sunday July 8. There are still tickets available for the show which runs from 6-10 p.m.

He's a consummate singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player with a deep, soulful, powerful voice. Danny was born and raised in Toronto and lived in nearby Milton for decades. Over his 40-plus year career he has been nominated for multiple Maple Blues Awards, two Junos and six of his songs have been honoured in the International Songwriting Competition.

He recently moved to Austin Texas where he's been incredibly well received - including a performance on the famed Austin City Limits show.

He calls his unique blend of Blues "Texassippi Hill Country Soul with a little bit of Gospel thrown in" which is as good a description as any. Danny's music reaches out and touches your soul. He's like nobody you have ever seen before and once you do you'll never forget him.

Proceeds from the show will go to the Westport Dandelion Gardens Studio Tour.
